
Noam Dolgin was born in 1976 in Vancouver, British Columbia to parents Avi & Ruth. His childhood included sports, theatre, Jewish day school during the year, and Habonim Dror summer camp and family camping trips in the Summer.
Noam's love of nature and Judaism, developed at a young age, while his skill and dedication to education and advocacy has developed through his lifetime. Throughout high school, Noam was a leader in Jewish youth programming community wide. In university Noam was an active member of Hillel and was awarded the Award for Jewish Leadership in 1997.
During university, Noam developed a key understanding of Humanities effects on the Earth, and began investigation religious and moral obligations to care for Creation. It was at this time that Noam was involved in the Creation of Canada's first Jewish environmental group, Adam Va-Adamah.
Noam's expertise in religious environmental values quickly landed him work with a number of Jewish environmental organizations including the Northwest Jewish Environmental Project, Adam Va-Adamah, and eventually a position as the Associate Director of the Teva Learning Center. Noam has now served in that position for six years.
Building off this success and in addition to his work at Teva, Noam is now looking towards new opportunities in the field of environmental education. These projects including working to protect Israel's environment through the work of the Green Zionist Alliance, a new kids nature and environment TV show, and many other exciting ideas in his head.
